A different excitement

Today, I had the first check-up for our second baby…my baby is now 13 weeks and 1 day old (the first check-up is supposed to be at 10 weeks). While inside the clinic, I felt a different excitement for my second pregnancy. Maybe because I now know what is going to happen next. Also, I feel like the wait is shorter compared to my first one.

Tyler and I heard our second baby’s heartbeat…and were both emotional when we heard the sound…I was actually holding back my tears, my tears for joy for having another child…Our baby’s heartbeat was 156 beats per minute :-)

Elijah, the big brother, is now starting to walk! He is truly a blessing and a joy to our lives…

the best time of my life

Recently my officemate and I had a chit-chat about the best times of our lives…I told her that I think right now is one of the best times of my life, having both Tyler and Elijah …

It’s been almost three months since Elijah came into our world. On Dec. 30, 2008 at 12:01 p.m. everything in our lives changed as we welcomed the arrival of our first born.

Elijah is a very sweet baby…a bundle of joy…he is not hard to take care of…most of the time, he just cries when he is hungry. I enjoy so much being a Mommy to him…nursing Elijah is a very special time for me…the way my baby looks and smiles at me gives me great joy, which I carry wherever I go.

James 5:17-18 “Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops”.
